purchased by me
This is only the 2nd week of the "Blogger Bragger Spring Nail Art Challenge". (Although my entry is late...we are still having problems with our internet.) There are 6 more weeks in this challenge. I want to invite you all to participate in it. If you would like to join us for this challenge just visit us at https://www.facebook.com/groups/bloggerbragger/ and ask to join the group. The group isn't just for those in the challenge. If your just looking for a place to post your blog work, you can do that too.

This challenge is easy. It is about types of polish, but the polishes can be designed in any way you'd like. Add to them to them to your hearts content.

This week the challenge is to do something with matte polish. I used Zoya Thea and Savita and came up with a matte/glitter combination. They are both winter polishes but I think Savita is so velvety looking and I love it so much. (Jessica has a line of summer mattes coming out next month that I'm very excited about!)

KBShimmer 2015 Spring Collection - Glitters - A Review

purchased by me
Last week I swatched and reviewed the holographic polishes from KBShimmer's Spring Collection. I am going to finish off the collection by swatching and reviewing the remaining seven glitter polishes. (There was also a white to make 12 but I didn't get that one.)

Glitter polish is where KBShimmer excels! These polishes are all a good consistency, not too thick and and not too thin, they cover well, and I love them. There are some new colors in this collection!

All of the polish I am reviewing today is glitter. There are seven glitter polishes in the spring collection. They are Wind Swarm, Egg-scape, Funky Cold Patina, I'm So Sweet Pea, To Peach His Own, Cool Hand Cuke, and Meow or Never.

Guest Post - Shea Langlois Caithaml

Thursday, April 23, 2015

Hello Lovelies,

I am so excited to be doing a guest post for Lisa, and this is my 1st guest post ever!!  I have been following her blog for the past year and it has inspired me to try a little nail art.  For my guest post, I created the cutest little Pink Lady Bugs.  I searched the internet and Pinterest for ideas and inspiration.  Everything I found in my research was for the traditional Black & Red versions.  Being a lover of Pink polish, I knew I had to create pink ladybugs :) I started with a base coat of Chaos & Crocodiles LH 07, 2 coats, then used Enchanted Polish Paint it Black for the body and Zoya Snow White, for the eyes.  With this being my first ever attempt at this free hand nail are design, I am very pleases with it!! It's simple and totally cute.  Do you have a favorite free hand nail art design? There are a few other designs I would like to try in the future. Thank you Lisa for the opportunity to guest post on your blog, and for your lovely readers I hope you enjoyed my Lady Bug Mani.

Blogger Bragger Spring Nail Art Challenge - Creme

purchased by me
This is only the 1st week of the "Blogger Bragger Spring Nail Art Challenge". There are 7 more weeks in this challenge. We started this challenge late because I was hacked and have been without internet for over a month.

This week is creme. I used Butter London's Poole, a grayish sky blue. I bought this a few months ago and have been looking for an occasion to use it. It is perfect for spring (even though our spring is being a little snowy right now.)

KBShimmer Spring 2015 Collection - Halos - A Review

Sunday, April 12, 2015

purchased by me
I am finishing my post from last night. I am posting KBShimmer's halo polishes from her spring collection. Just four of the 12.

I can't say enough good things about these polishes. KBShimmer, in my mind, has graduated from an "indie" polish maker. Her polish is always densely pigmented, and goes on creamy and beautifully. It is better than some mainstream polishes in my opinion!

All of the polish I am reviewing today is holographic. There are four halo polishes in the spring collection. A blue called Blue-d, a pink called Blush Money, a green called Ins and Sprouts, and a purple called Thistle be the Day.

Nail Art Tuesday - Dots

purchased by me
I have been MIA for awhile. We got hacked and I haven't had the internet for over a month. It has been torture for me! I kept buying polishes in the hopes I would get to use them be they have just waited...like me. I missed most of the spring lines and they are my favorite! Pastels! I'll try to sneak some in during the next month so you can see them in nail art and throwbacks.

Tuesday I did some nail art using a blue from Zoya's Spring Collection, Delightful. It is called Rayne.
